Course Introduction
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global initiative aimed at helping enterprises set science-based carbon targets consistent with the Paris Agreement's goal of keeping global temperature rise this century well below 2°C, ensuring that the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is stabilized at a level that prevents dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system. This course mainly introduces the theoretical basis for the emergence and development of science-based targets, the methodology for setting science-based targets, the validation criteria for science-based targets, and the application process and requirements for science-based targets.
Training Benefits
- Systematically introduce the historical context of climate change and science-based targets
- Comprehensively interpret the criteria and recommendations for setting science-based targets
- Deeply explain the general requirements and industry-specific requirements for setting Scope 1/2/3 science-based targets
- Use rich pictures and video materials to show key content of the latest science-based target setting
- Use case analysis to help enterprises and the entire supply chain act as soon as possible
Target Participants
- Enterprise sustainable development managers, strategic planners, carbon management personnel, environmental and energy management personnel
