Climate change caused by human activities is considered one of the greatest challenges facing the world and will continue to affect enterprises in the coming decades. Climate change has multiple impacts on human and natural systems, including resource availability, economic activities and human health. Therefore, many international, national and local institutions are actively responding, striving to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
Efforts to mitigate climate change depend on the quantification, monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gases. ISO 14064-1:2018 is a standard formulated by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), specifying requirements for organizations to quantify and report organizational greenhouse gas emissions and removals. This course will help learners prepare greenhouse gas inventories and write greenhouse gas reports and procedure documents according to the requirements of the new standard.
