The Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) was created by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) together with a group of leading technology companies, consulting companies, industry and academic experts. SIRI includes a series of frameworks and tools to assist manufacturers (regardless of industry field, size or years of operation) from various aspects, expand and support their manufacturing transformation journey. SIRI covers the 3 core elements of Industry 4.0: process, technology and organization. The Singapore government established the SIRI Certified Assessor Programme to formally recognize independent and neutral individuals who professionally assess manufacturing plants using SIRI and its accompanying frameworks and tools. The SIRI Certified Assessor Programme includes training courses and certification schemes. The SIRI Assessor Training Course will provide industry practitioners with the industry knowledge and skills required to become a SIRI Certified Assessor (CSA). Course content includes Industry 4.0, SIRI framework and tools, business consulting concepts and the official SIRI assessment implementation method. The course will be conducted in classroom training format, with a duration of 40 hours. TÜV SÜD is a recognized training provider and can provide the SIRI Assessor Training Course.
