Course Introduction
Lean Production, referred to as "Lean," is a management philosophy derived from the Toyota Production System. It includes many well-known manufacturing enterprises and MIT professors' research, application and development of the Toyota Production System worldwide, which promoted the emergence of lean production theory and production management system. This system is still continuously evolving and developing. It has changed from focusing on on-site Kaizen in the past to inventory control, production plan management, process improvement (process reengineering), cost management, employee quality cultivation, supply chain collaborative optimization, product lifecycle management (product concept design, product development, production line design, workbench design, work method design and improvement), quality management, equipment resources and human resource management, market development and sales management, and many other levels involved in enterprise operation and management. Through two days of learning, this course will enable learners to have a relatively comprehensive and in-depth understanding of lean production, be able to solve actual problems in work, possess knowledge and practical techniques for promoting lean production, especially support skills and knowledge beyond lean, and practical operation experience rarely introduced in books.
