Course Introduction
The 8D problem solving method, also known as team-oriented problem solving or 8D report, is a method for handling and solving problems, often used by quality engineers or other professionals. The purpose of the 8D problem solving method is to identify recurring problems and correct and eliminate them, helping improve products and processes. When conditions permit, the 8D problem solving method is the standard practice for structurally and thoroughly solving problems through teamwork in the automotive industry, assembly and other industries.
