VDA 6.8 is a brand-new international quality standard for supply chain process audits, officially released in December 2024. It is an authoritative guidance document in the field of global supply chain management, building a systematic audit framework covering supplier lifecycle management. The standard can minimize full-chain supply chain risks and promote standardization, stabilization, lean optimization and safety protection of logistics processes. At the same time, VDA 6.8 connects VDA 6.3 and the Global Materials Management Operations Guideline / Logistics Evaluation (MMOG/LE), playing an important bridging role.
