Course Introduction

Kaizen (continuous improvement) originates from the Japanese term meaning continuous, incremental improvement in both theory and practice. Through relevant tools and techniques, it reduces or eliminates waste and deficiencies in work processes. It is a management concept derived mainly from the Toyota Production System (TPS). One core concept of using Kaizen methods to solve problems is that change does not happen overnight but gradually over time. During this period, relevant personnel continuously develop new skills and focus more on the learning process rather than simply delivering results. Therefore, this constructive approach prepares employees for the long term while ensuring they meet set goals.
This course designs activity scenarios and introduces the concept of "continuous improvement", the seven improvement tools and typical wastes step by step. Through this course, you will learn about the tools used to implement improvement measures and the relationships between them, and better understand their application scenarios through examples. In addition, you will recognise the types of wastes that occur in work processes, their definitions, and be able to classify them in actual work.
The course lasts approximately 45 minutes. In addition to content explanations, many practice questions are included to make the online learning more engaging. At the end of the course, a test module is provided to help participants effectively understand and consolidate the learning content.
